Its hooked iron blade bears old stains and a lifetime of damage. Each notch in the haft marks a head claimed; the charms were tied on before battle.

Convincing tiki bar décor depends on layers: uneven patina, evidence of use, imperfect placement, low directional light and a story that connects one object to the next. The goal is not a showroom display. It is the sensation that the room existed before the visitor arrived.
